Parenting Education Seminar Registration Process

The Co-Parenting: Two Parents, Two Homes is a four-hour interactive education class that was developed to help parents focus on the responsibilities of parenting from separate households and keeping children out of the middle of parental conflict. The curriculum covers different models of parenting from separate homes and common co-parenting challenges. It helps parents be aware of the effects of separation or divorce on their children. It also provides parents with a variety of options for resolving conflicts.

Registration Information and Deadline:

  1. Register Via Computer:
    1. Complete the Parenting Education Form
    2. Once you complete the form and hit Submit, it will come directly to the workforce email (workforce@pdc.edu).
    3. Call the Workforce Office at 757-569-6050 to ensure receipt of your registration form and make your payment of $50
    4. You will be enrolled in the class once your form and payment are received.
  1. In Person Registration:
    1. Print, complete, and return paper registration to the Workforce Development Office. Please bring your form and payment of $50 in the form of money order or Mastercard or VISA. Call Workforce Development for any questions at 757-569-6050.

Registration & Payment Deadline:  The Wednesday prior to the class date.

Class Completion and Evaluation:

  1. As part of the completion of your online class, complete the Parenting Education Seminar evaluation. The evaluation form will automatically email workforce@pdc.edu when you hit Submit.
  2. The evaluation link will be sent in the Participant email called Parenting Evaluation.

  3. Camp will mail your Certificate of Completion on the Monday following the class to the address provided when you registered for the class unless otherwise specified.
