From Idea to Enterprise: The Basics of Building a Successful Business

Starting your own business can feel overwhelming, but most successful founders focus on a core set of fundamentals. A lot of businesses fail not because of bad ideas, but because of: Poor planning, running out of money, and not understanding customers. This seminar will focus on key items that you need to consider when starting a business. The course will focus on business ideas and plans, legal structure, branding, marketing, and customer service.

Register Online:
1. Click Community Education and Add Class to Cart "What's Next on Your AI Journey?"
2. Under New Students, Click Create New Profile.
3, Upon completion of profile, click View Cart in top right-hand corner.
4. Click Check out and proceed with your online payment. 

Register Via Computer:

  1. Complete the Noncredit Registration Form.
  2. Once you complete the form and hit Submit, it will come directly to the workforce email (workforce@pdc.edu).
  3. Call the Workforce Office at 757-569-6050 to ensure receipt of your registration form and make your payment of $50
  4. You will be enrolled in the class once your form and payment are received.

  1. Print, complete, and return paper registration form to the Workforce Development Office.
  2. Payment is due at time of registration. We accept Money Order, Mastercard or VISA. We do NOT accept cash.
