Here are some helpful suggestions:

  • CONTACTING US:
    • If a call does not go through successfully, try adding “757” when dialing
    • Leave your full name, student ID#, and a phone # when leaving a voicemail
    • IF YOU HAVE TROUBLE GETTING A CALL TO GO THROUGH AT ALL, EMAIL US AT finaid@pdc.edu and we will get back to you within 24 business hours
  • SUBMITTING FORMS:
    • Thank you for your patience as we work through the processing of your Summer and Fall 2020 Financial Aid documents submitted
    • Let us know if you are having difficulty with the uploading of documents
    • We are actively looking for win-win solutions to challenges, such as e-sign options
    • If you need to submit a Tax Transcript, Wage & Income Transcript, or Non-Tax Filer form from www.irs.gov and are experiencing delays due to the demands put on the IRS site during the pandemic, consider linking to IRS within your FAFSA instead
  • VETERANS:
    • We have been instructed to take a temporary pause on certifying any changes, or future enrollment at this point.
    • If you are taking summer or fall classes, you can still email your class schedule and enrollment transcript to hwarford@pdc.edu (Franklin Students) or naltstatt@pdc.edu (Suffolk students).
  • WORK STUDY STUDENTS:
    • Students in the Federal Work Study program (FWS) will continue to be paid based on their originally scheduled hours, simply enter the hours as usual and your supervisor will approve them
    • If you are not taking summer classes, FWS ends April 30
    • If you are taking at least half-time classes in summer, please file your Fall FAFSA to work
