Admissions & Records
The Office of Admissions and Records manages applications for admission to the College, student academic records, transcripts of college work, and applications for graduation. The Dean of Student Services oversees the operations of the admissions and records functions of the College. Recruitment and Admissions Specialists at the Franklin and Suffolk campuses are responsible for assisting students from point of inquiry to first registration. Office Services Specialists, and other personnel as needed, provide front-line customer service as well as processing of student applications for admission, transcripts and records requests, and applications for graduation. Students taking courses at the CAMP Center at Smithfield are assisted by the Center Coordinators and Administrative Assistant. The Office of Admissions and Records is often the first stop for students seeking assistance, and office staff ensure that students are referred to the appropriate services, such as academic advising, financial aid, success coaching, and disability services described below.
Students enrolled in classes at off-campus sites or enrolled in distance education classes may contact the Office of Admissions and Records by phone or email for services. The Office also utilizes postal mailing for some correspondence. Information pertaining to Admissions and Records services is also available to all students online, and includes: forms, graduation information, instructions on how to become a student and how to register for classes, the online college application, and instructions for requesting transcripts.

NC-SARA is a voluntary, regional approach to state oversight of postsecondary distance education. This allows Camp to offer distance learning programs and courses to residents of member states without seeking state-by-state approval. As of July 2019, 49 states (all but California), the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands have joined SARA. For more information, visit Distance Education at Camp.
