Dakota Corbin of Franklin and Kyleigh Hasson of Suffolk, registered nursing students at Paul D. Camp Community College, each received a $500 scholarship from the Uniform Retailers Association (URA).
The awards were announced through Scrubs Plus of Suffolk Owner Dwane Sherrick, pictured with students, who is a member of the URA based in Cincinnati, Ohio.
He has assisted the college’s nursing department with uniforms for the last two years. “We at Scrubs Plus were very pleased to provide this opportunity for the students and equally proud that two were awarded these scholarships,” said Sherrick.
