Program Purpose:
The Paramedic program prepares you for the highest level of pre-hospital emergency care. Master advanced cardiac life support, pharmacology, and critical care interventions across five comprehensive semesters. CAMP is Virginia's only Paramedic program with a Letter of Review from CoAEMSP, ensuring the highest educational standards.

- Advanced Cardiac Care
12-lead ECG interpretation, cardioversion, transcutaneous pacing, and cardiac pharmacology. - Advanced Airway Management
Endotracheal intubation, RSI, surgical airways, and mechanical ventilation. - Pharmacology
Comprehensive medication administration including cardiac drugs, sedatives, and analgesics. - Critical Care Transport
Manage critically ill patients including ventilator patients and complex medical conditions. - Pediatric & OB Care
Neonatal resuscitation, pediatric emergencies, and obstetrical complications. - Medical Leadership
Scene management, team leadership, and critical decision-making under pressure.
How long will I need to be in college?
A college-ready student attending Camp full-time can complete this career studies certificate in one academic year (two semesters).
