At Camp Community College, we believe that military experience, education, and training should translate, whenever possible, into academic credit that can help you achieve your educational and career goals.
Credits2Careers, Virginia’s Community Colleges’ academic and career portal, is a personalized tool that will provide current and prospective military and veteran students the ability to:
- Instantly get an estimate of potential credits from their military education, experience, and training.
- Personalized exploration of civilian careers related to their military training and specialties; personal interests; or recommended by interest evaluations.
- Receive real time employment information to assist military and veteran students make informed post-secondary decisions.
Start evaluating your military experience for college credit at credits2careers.org.
Follow these steps:
- Create an Account: Sign up on the Credits2Careers website to begin the evaluation process.
- Upload Documentation: Upload your Joint Services Transcript (JST) or Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) Transcript to add your service to your portfolio.
- Add to Portfolio: Select the dropdown menu items in Add to Portfolio that match your previous work or military experience, academic courses, exams, awards, etc.
- Review Estimated Credits: Review your estimated credits for prior learning at each Virginia Community College and which degree programs are most aligned with your experience.
- Submit your estimated summary of credits and the official JST transcript to transcripts@pdc.edu for evaluation.
