Emergency Aid Programs
Emergency Programs have been created through generous gifts to the Paul D. Camp Community College Education Foundation from donors, the Virginia Foundation for Community College Education (VFCCE), and Sentara Healthcare, as well as state contributions from the State Council of Higher Education in Virginia (SCHEV).
Situations or events described must involve circumstances which are sudden, unexpected and which affect a student’s ability to function as a student (e.g., transportation, housing, food, books, technology, childcare, family or medical expenses). You must be enrolled in at least six credit hours and have a 2.0 GPA. Documentation is required to support your request. Request for assistance is limited to one time per academic year.
You may ONLY receive one emergency assistance payment in an academic year (Fall/Spring/Summer).
